What pilots usually ask before the first flight.
Which cameras and receivers work?
Any camera or video receiver that works as a standard USB video
device — including popular digital FPV ground units, HDMI capture
sticks, and webcams. Plug it in and Lycan Cast picks its best
quality automatically.
Does it need an internet connection?
No — and it never can. Lycan Cast has no network access at all,
enforced by Android itself. Everything works in airplane mode,
in the field, anywhere.
Where are my recordings saved?
In your gallery by default, or any folder you choose — including
SD cards. Your recordings are normal video files you can play,
edit, and share with any app.
What do I need to run it?
An Android phone or tablet running Android 8.0 or newer, plus
the cable that fits your camera — that's it. No account,
no sign-up, no licence keys.
